ATSC / QAM TV tuner and satellite signals, they can work together?
Hello everyone, I've been trying to figure out if I can get my ATSC / QAM TV tuner connected to my PC to capture the signal from my Dish Network satellite box. From what I understand it will not function directly as the signal is coded, but once that has been decoded by the satellite receiver then fed back would it work if plugged into my TV tuner ATSC / QAM? Is there something you could do differently in the tuner setup? He says he will work with an encrypted signal wire makes valid for the satellite signal, so? I have an HDTV tuner Sarbrent Digital ATSC / QAM Needless to say it is not working right now, all I can get is the ATSC channels by the air, do not even care about HD content just want to be able to watch all the channels on my TV as it only has a large monitor and a small TV age. Thanks for any help or advice!
It will work if you use the coaxial output of the receiver from Dish Network. From LNB dish receiver is a scrambled signal digital. The receiver decodes and transmits an analog signal via coaxial cable or etc / HDMI
