Need help with HD TV!?
Well, I bought a 360 for Christmas because it has great games and I want to enjoy their amazing graphics, but I don’t have an HD TV, but I do have a pretty good monitor and I heard that you can connect your 360 to it, so I want to know if my monitor is HD, so I don’t waste my money (I bought arcade), it has a resolution of 1440 x 900 – 60Hz, I don’t know if that is all the information that you need to know if it s an HD, but if you need more info, tell me what to ask again. It also is an flat panel.

It has an HDMI port, but will my monitor support the 360?
Also if you don’t mind to answer, does playing with the 360 needs a video card. (GForce -Ati)

You can connect that XBox 360 to your monitor using the XBox HDMI adapter and cable: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16874103073
Though if your monitor also has VGA inputs, I would preferentially use that because the XBox doesn’t do anything that requires HDCP. I’d save the HDMI port for something else that actually needs HDCP, like a Blu-Ray player or such.

You connect the XBox directly to the monitor. You don’t connect it to the computer’s video card.
