Freeview and HD Recording?
Hi, eventually all analoque signals will cease. This leaves the majority of people on freeview boxes. It appears to me that if one sets dvd to record from freeview box, it is not poss. to watch another channel at the same time. My present system acts this way. Obviously one will have to install another freeview box and run it through an Ext channel on TV. I have 3 Exts on my TV which are all used.
1. Freeview 2. DVD 3.DVD music centre, and of course the standard 5 channel station. My question is does anyone know of a freeview/DVD recorder that will allow recording whilst watching another channel.
argos do a range of freeview decoders with built in hard drives so you can record one program and watch another. prices go from £75 upwards. cheapest one has twin tuner to do this. more expensive might have more bells and whistles. other option if you have bt broadband, you can check out their bt vision service, basically the same but can also download films etc on demand over the broadband.
