Standard Definition TV broadcast in high definition. . .?
I am looking to replace my old TV with a TV High Definition latest and greatest. The satellite provider charges $ 10 extra per month for HD channels, I am not interested in paying. I've heard standard definition that actually comes to look worse on a HDTV than it would in an older model TV. Is this true?
Because you already use satellite and the signal is digital, even SD. So SD Digital TV will look great on any HDTV. I think $ 10 a month for HD is it really worth it, but it's your call. Put the new HD satellite dish however. Even allows you to connect an external antenna, so you can get / register the off-the-air Local HD channels.
