how to connect a PS3, HD TV and home theater?
Hello, I have a PS3, an HDTV and a home theater, and I would like to connect everything together, ie: I want to be able to hear the TV through the home theater speakers, and I want to hear and see the PS3 at the highest resolution possible Is there anyone who can help me and tell me how to connect exclaty and what kind of cables do I need? Thanks
An HDMI cable is the only option for resolving Complete the PS3 can find one at Walmart or Target etc, or any electronics store like Best Buy. Depending on the theater, you may be able to run the HDMI from the PS3 in the system and then another HDMI to the TV. Then, using an optical digital cable from the TV back to the theater to get the TV to play through The PS3 system will play through the system with HDMI. If the system does not have an HDMI output, most today have 2 optical digital ports, so use the HDMI from the PS3 to the TV for full-resolution video and optical cable from the back of the PS3 and one of the back of TV to the two ports on the receiver theater. The HDMI port should be labeled in different devices, and optical port. If no optical port is labeled, only the small spot that usually has a little cover to keep rolling dust clouds the optical signal.
