Hd Video Camera 1080p

What is better than the Canon HF 200 Flash or Canon HG10?
I'm thinking of getting a new video camera and know I want a Canon, but I want know which is better, the HF 200 or the HG10? I would appreciate it if someone could tell me, or if there is one best that I can recommend. I am looking for a full HD (1080p) video camera that uses an internal hard drive (with lots of space) and a flash memory port. Preferably a fee or other high quality or professional society.
Canon HG10 AVCHD High Definition camera with optical image stabilizer http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000U8HBRW?tag=dcmb-20 Review: I've been using camcorders since 1985 and have used almost every possible format for consumers. From October 2007, I firmly believe I can say that this is by far the best camcorder But in terms of image quality, convenience and price. Although there are some limitations in the AVCHD format (I will not repeat here again), the desirability of Hard disk drive made me choose the HG10 and I have absolutely no remorse at all. First of all, I would like to clarify information that another reviewer can divert some people. The HG10 includes software to transfer and edit video from a PC. It comes with Ulead DVD MovieFactory SE for editing and burning DVDs and AVCHD-DVD (You can play on some Blu-ray players and Playstation 3. It is a dvd which has high-definition images.) If reviewers others only have a Mac, their complaints are valid, since the HG10 only contains one image browser to manage the still pictures, no videos on a Mac For most consumers like me, the DVD MovieFactory works very well. I just burn a standard DVD (yes, an MPEG2 DVD that you watch every day) with the DVD MovieFactory and am very satisfied with the result. Conversion high definition images with the SD format does not degrade the original quality is not HD and I was much impressed by that. I added chapter marks with menus prepared and not a little editing. Editing AVCHD format needs a ton of processing capacity. If you do not have a fast computer (dual core 2 GHz or faster) will be extremely slow. I was using a Pentium 4 3.6 GHz processor, 2 gigs RAM, Windows Vista Business PC to a DVD and it worked well. Make an AVCHD-DVD is more fast as it requires no re-encoding video files. If you do not do a complicate editing job and want to combine video clips from the HG10 and burn a DVD, you can use a slower computer for that purpose. I have experience with Adobe Premiere, Ulead VideoStudio, and iMovie (for Mac). Although DVD MovieFactory may not be the tool suitable for professional work, is good enough for home use. I surprised my friend from DVD created from it. My only complaint is an activation process complicated software. You should carefully read the software instructions to ensure a comfortable (especially the Web page on the last page). I lost two hours only to activate the software. Yes, the HG10 does not have an IEEE1394 (Firewire or, or what they call it iLink) port. However, you do not. All films are already stored AVCHD format and you only need to transfer files to your computer. If you have to capture and encode the video file in a magnetic tape (MiniDV), may have an IEEE1394 port. However, for the HG10, you need not do that. If you look at other hard drive based camcorders have not either (that everything has a USB port). Just before the HG10, I used a Sony DCR-SR100 and do not have a firewire port, either. The HG10 has a mini HDMI (type C) port, so if you want to connect the HG10 to via HDMI, to apply for a mini-HDMI cable to HDMI (Type C Type A). The HG10 only includes a composite cable A / V and component video cable. E minor complaint is that it comes with a shoulder strap. This toy costs $ 1,000, so a nice shoulder strap should be given (I'm using one from an old Canon camcorder ZR). I was told that the HG10 uses the same optical mechanism, Canon HV20, which is known to be the best consumer HD camcorder on the market (it records in HDV format tapes, not AVCHD hard drive). So expect the picture quality would be pretty good and he was right. If you have a 1080p HD screen, you will be surprised. Personally, I use a 720p projector at home and am very impressed by the quality of the image. Unlike Sony AVCHD camcorders, the sound is recorded on two channels Dolby Digital format (Sony records in 5.1 channel Dolby Digital). The good thing about 2 channel recording is not recorded breathing. With 5.1 channel recording, it is easy hear the sound of breathing, as two of the microphones are catching rear sound. For low light performance (similar to the injection of interior), the HG10 is comparatively better than any other video camera power levels in the market I've seen. However, do not expect much. You can not compare with the low quality light $ 3,000 for a camcorder. My impression is that their low light image quality is as close to a decent high consumer price level 3CCD camcorder. **************************** ************************ Canon VIXIA HF200 flash memory HD camcorder with 15x optical zoom http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001OI2Z2I? tag = dcmb-20 Review: After reading many of the above comments I took the plunge and bought the Canon VIXIA HF200 flash memory camcorder. I upgraded from a camcorder Canon mini-DV, had already bought my first HDTV from Amazon last Christmas. Of course, I needed a high-definition camcorder with my new HDTV! I use a Sonnet 21-in-1 media reader and writer Card/34 Express and pop in an SD card to transfer video clips to my MacBook Pro Using iMovie '09, this works very well. iMovie '09 recognizes flawless, and with this software I can choose the clips you want to download from the SD card to my laptop. I use iMovie '09 for organizing my videos, and I make the initial selection of clips I want on each project with iMovie '09. Then export to Apple Intermediate Codec and open this file iMovie HD export. I prefer the timeline in an older version of iMovie from Apple. I also purchased Final Cut Express 4, but have not broken this product however, since it is much more complicated than what I'm used in iMovie. So for now, I'm taking with video clips of the latest version of iMovie, then downconverting and editing in iMovie HD, which works very well. I finally learn Final Cut Express and advance my video editing hobby. I share all this because I did not realize until I read the book Missing Manual by David Pogue (iMovie and iDVD '09) could still use iMovie HD with a camera flash AVCHD video and codec. I'm glad I discovered this. As others have said, getting AVCHD encoded video clips on a computer takes longer than real time due to conversion that must take place. My mode of operation with a video camera Canon mini-DV tape was to fill 60 minutes, then transfer to the laptop where appropriate. I would like to launch and return 60 minutes later 60-minute video ready to edit. Now, I return 90 minutes later at his place. Transfer seems to be about 1.5 times the length of the clips, more or less. For me, this is not a problem when I use my usual transfer editing process. If you are looking to transfer Instant File in usable form, however, flash memory does not give you – at least this camera. Others have said, and I found in the address book David Pogue, declaring that it is possible to transfer files to your computer hard drive for later conversion to a usable form for editing. I have not done this, and I would be nervous about how to remove the clips from my flash memory card until I had become, she could see, and had backup in another hard disk. That's when I can erase the flash memory card and reuse it for new video clips. I had too many data loss situations in the past and I think I'm a bit overly cautious when I have time in their life-video that I do not want to lose. I believe in multiple copies of valuable data, including video data. I work around this limitation to have two 16 Gb flash memory cards, the best way for this camera, I get about 1.5 hours of video per card. I have yet to complete before transferring a video. Also I have multiple firewire or USB hard drives that I use for video backup. If I take a long trip I'm going to buy a handful SD chips, along with two batteries that I have, and shoot away. Every night is my practice to download to your hard drive anyway, back that up to an external drive, and this seems to work for most situations. It is less expensive to do this with mini-DV tapes (which provide a source of support), but when it comes to video precious do not mind paying for a few extra chips of 16 Gb. They are pretty cheap on Amazon.com. I recommend this camera if your habits match mine, or if you are looking for the future great video on a TV. I have a lot to learn about this camera to get the most out of them, including the editing process. It's going to serve for many years to come, like my Canon mini-DV standard-definition.
