Help with sharing music with Windows Media Player 11 and Windows Vista?
I'm in a college and I use Windows Media Player 11 and Windows Vista. If I click Library, I notice that under the drive (D:), is a great list of computers that are on the same wireless network as me. If I click on one of them says: "Before able to reproduce items in this collection, you must first have access to the library. "I understand that this means they probably have the media sharing off. I have my ways of sharing power, but in some research, I found that the files must be in a folder of "monitoring". This includes my music, my pictures, etc. Well all I have is my music on an external hard drive. I need to know how to make my music "folder" my external hard drive folder "Control", as my regular hard disk is almost full. I've entered the settings and said that anyone can access my music just any star and any explicit content. Thank you.
