LG HDTV picture quality?
I have a 37inch LG HDTV 1080p and picture quality is horrible, my old CRT TV picture quality was much better, because my tv is HD and now i do not subscribe to HD channels?
No, it's because LG TVs have a reputation for poor image quality. Any LCD or Plasma TV will have something of lower quality images of your old set, unless you are watching HD, but some are much better than others. Before we bought our new 46 "LCD TV, which is well researched sites review internet / forums to find the best deal and quality, Sony came out tops, but it was very expensive, and was followed closely by JVC (which is what we buy because we have a very large). LG was programmed wrong in all places (and we saw a lot). Some other brands of televisions from LG has technology, too, so only the local governments with a different name. The reason you see it in stores because they often run on HD loop and not the other standard in the store are displayed, and this gives a false impression of the overall image quality.
