Help me choose a DVD player. I'll try to be as clear as possible about my preferences.?
Firstly I have a lot of "metro DVD's I buy in China. I know I need a region free player, but more than that need a player who is ULTRA forgiving, and really do not care about recording errors. Second, I do plan to buy an HDTV (1080p), in the future, at which time I'll be back again to advice. Or I will want a DVD player that has a superior technology to convert, or a television with higher capacity. Not sure what is the best way to go there, but I will not pay twice for the same capacity. I've decided for now not to get into HD DVD or Blue Ray. I would have several options as the possible connection of preference is not limited to HDMI, because for now I will be using a CRT. I would like to do DivX, JPG, MP3, and many more as possible. Overall, a very flexible, but quality player. Thanks
