how to adjust the carburetor harley davidson sportster to be thinner?
My 2003 HD sportster is running "rich" and they told me appeared to be …… How I can set the value?
There is no adjustment of the mixture. We need to change the size of intermediate jet. Remove float bowl and look under the carbs. The reaction can be removed with a small screwdriver. Try a size or two thinner. Will need to use the method of trial and error. When we have the right mix of plugs should be a nice tan color. Black = white = lean rich.
