John Adams – The Pillars of the Earth in DISH Network HD
Dish TV to pay is the second largest satellite TV provider in the U.S. behind market leader DirecTV. In an attempt to attract new customers, Dish TV and Direct TV have been adding both satellites and strengthening both its High Definition (HD) number of channels.
Dish TV currently offers more HD channels. Both Dish TV and Direct TV are attempting to add 3D for its programming. However, Dish TV has recently launched an aggressive promotion that could help Direct TV contest in the future. .
Plate TV has more HD channels, but Direct TV is not far behind
With the recent addition of six new HD channels, the line of a plate HDTV is now about 200 channels. Dish TV offers 60 on-demand high definition channels, 25 HD regional sports channels, 22 premium HD network, HD 15 pay per view channels and 70 different HD channels in their basic programming packages.
In comparison, Direct TV now offers more than 150 HD channels.
