How long do you think to the Blue-Ray HD-DVD replaced?
Also, what is the life of expenticence regular DVD video?
I think Blu-Ray HD-DVD completely replace later this year or early 2009. I've seen articles online saying that despite the player prices HD-DVD have fallen and are cheaper than Blu-Ray DVD, has not yet made a difference. Blu-Ray is outselling HD-DVD by a wide margin. I mean seriously, why why anyone would even buy an HD-DVD player even if it is cheaper than most major film production companies do not support it and only Blu-Ray. Blu-Ray with the support of five or six of the major film production companies now, and only two film production companies still support HD-DVD. You really do not have to worry about of regular DVD's as Blu-Ray DVD players can also play regular DVD. I'm not sure how long standard DVD will sell well. I think the normal DVD is still on sale for about 2 or 3 years, probably.
