Flip Camcorder Case
Is this a problem??
I just got a brand new Sony VX2100 yesterday, I seem to be very protective and anxiety about this, now well into the truck while I drove, I got my VX2100 in the rear floor in my case it was hard and standing the greatest height it can reach up (as if you flip it over 90 degrees on the side) and if it has foam surrounds the camera everywhere and it is in place safely and do not move and its a difficult case, and the camera has just swung and hit the back of the truck and I turned around and it scared me. Am I worrying too much and nothing happened on the camcorder, its a little weird, but I think I am overprotective and worrying. Thank you and good answer gets 10 points for SURE!
If so hard that Sony is made for camcorders, so I would not worry about it. This case is designed to absorb a shock like that. If it's a Brand-X case with solid foam rubber inside Do you pluck or cut away to accommodate the camera, then I still would not worry about it. However, in the case of solid foam, brand-x type, I would worry about moisture. Take a bit of moss and check to see if it will absorb water like a sponge. If so, buy another case. This type of foam absorbs moisture and then releases it on everything here. If it is "closed" cell foam does not absorb water and is OK for the camera.
